thank you to everyone for those really sweet messages they mean a lot to me! im crying a little bit on the couch here
reggie was actually very old, which a lot of people didn’t know. she’s been my baby bird since i was 5, and i loved her a lot. she went out ok, everybody gave her a kiss goodnight last night by some amazing coincidence, so i dont feel she was taken from me or anything. she was still soft and just looked like she was sleeping awkwardly when i picked her up from the floor of her cage, but she had passed on and i dont mind too much. it was her time and she went out well.
i miss her a lot already and it’s only really just hit me so i’m tearing up a bit but i don’t mind
most of all i’m just glad i got to have her in my life
